Beta Testing

What does Beta testing mean?

beta test is the second phase of software testing in which a sampling of the intended audience tries the product out.

Since The Doll Bazaar is a new marketplace, it will have to undergo this testing phase to make it run smoother and easier for everyone.

This means that as you are browsing, there may be some changes being applied to the website, such as different layouts, colours or options available. We apologise if this causes any inconvenience.

Note: In some platforms, Beta testing means that by the end of the phase, all data and accounts will be wiped out and users are required to start fresh. This is not the case with our website, we do not see any need as of yet to implement this. You are able to post freely, however, keep in mind that unless a critical issue rises and there is a need for deletion, you will be informed, and this process would have to be carried out.

Is it only restricted to specific people?

No. It is open for everyone, we need all the help and feedback we can get :)

So where do I come in?

As a registered user, we ask you to help us find bugs, glitches and generally confusing or unsatisfactory issues with the website. That’s it! In doing so you will be helping us to create the perfect market environment for yourself and others!

Is something confusing with the site?

A page is not loading?

Would you like to have this text in pretty bubblegum pink or electric blue?

Any feedback is welcome. This is our community and we all share it, so it’s important that it be satisfactory to everyone :)

Keep in mind that this does not mean that all requests will be implemented. Bugs and issues will definitely be fixed first, whereas feedback and suggestions will be considered and reviewed, but in the end, everything will be applied with the benefit of everyone in mind.

Updates and announcements will be tweeted out in the Twitter box on our website to notify everyone of any changes and adjustments, as well as new features if they are carried out!

How can I help?

Simply use the “Bug Report” button found on the right column of each page to notify us of an error or submit feedback and suggestions. It is recommended that you use this option during Beta testing instead of the ‘Contact’ page as it gets delivered straight to our maintenance server, and makes the job easier for us! Once Beta testing is over, the button will be removed, and you can use the standard contact form on the ‘Contact’ page.

We thank each and every one of you for joining and helping us become the best doll marketplace on the interwebs!
